We have a proven ability to develop websites in both Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and Microsoft Content Management Server technologies. However, Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (MOSS 2007) has taken over from Microsoft Content Management Server for enterprise content management.
MOSS 2007 supports all intranet, extranet, and Web applications across a company within one integrated platform, instead of relying on separate fragmented systems. Additionally, this collaboration and content management server provides ICT professionals and developers with the platform and tools they need for server administration, application extensibility, and interoperability.
A good example of a website we have developed using MOSS 2007 is Leeds Trinity and All Saints University. The website was built using the content management features of MOSS 2007. As well as providing a simple to use platform for the University publishing team, MOSS provides a robust and flexible platform for meeting the requirements of a variety of audiences.
Sometimes our clients simply want to keep the same general layout but change colour schemes and logos which is relatively easy to achieve. On other occasions, like Leeds Trinity we have implemented different interfaces which has involved developing new controls and overriding the many default style sheets.
